Last weekend JD, Kristin and I ran the Survivor Mud Run in Berthoud, CO. The course was at a dirt -bike track right off the freeway. Our heat started at 1:30, and we thought we would roast out there in 100 degree heat. But, once you are covered in mud, the heat is not bothersome. Our poor friends watching us were the ones suffering. There was a cold shower at the finish line, but that didn't really put a dent into the amount of mud we collected in our clothes, hair, eyes... Afterwards, in our gross state, we all ate at Cinzetti's Italian Buffet. We did change clothes somewhat, but our hair was caked in dried mud. Nonetheless, we stood in the buffet line and tried not to drop mud clots into the primavera.
