JD and I decided to walk in the "Families Supporting Adoption" section of the Wheatridge City Parade. I knew a lot of families in the group were unable to attend, so to add to our numbers, I asked my sister Amy, my mom, and Amy's kids to join us in the parade. I am so glad they were there, and to have their support. Walking in a parade is really out of our comfort zone, but we are committed to doing all we can to do our part. My mom handed out flyers as we marched down Main Street and Amy's kids handed out candy and chanted, "We support adoption!" They were awesome!
